Smita Is Back With Baahubali Tribute Song

In the year 2000, Telugu pop artiste Smita broke into the national pop scene with the hugely successful ‘Hai Rabba’. The song was a chartbuster on MTV and Channel V those days. Smita then went on to sell several hit music albums and even sang in popular numbers in Tollywood films.

Now, after a long time, Smita is back to pop music with her new single, Baha Kilikki, a tribute song to Tollywood’s pride and India’s biggest motion picture, Baahubali. The Baha Kilikki features Smita, Prabhakar reprising his Kalakeya warlord role from Baahubali and young rapper Noel.

Directed by talented director Deva Katta, Baha Kilikki, is a lighter and a more flamboyant take on the jibberish Kiliki language, which was specially invented for Baahubali by young Tamil lyricist Madhan Karky. The song is peppy and instantly catchy and Smita also managed to pull off silver dance movements. Let’s wish this song announces Smita’s grand return to pop music.
