Hot babe Tamanna Bhatia was not on board, when director SS Rajamouli announced his magnum opus Baahubali. For the important role of Avanthika, shivudu’s (Prabhas) love interest, the director had zeroed in the glamour diva. The role had all shades, like Tamanna had to learn sword fighting, horse riding and had to ooze oomph.
Tamanna was at her glamour best in the song ‘Pachabottesina’. While some sections liked the song, few others criticized it for Tamanna’s bold acts. Keeping aside all these, the song recorded views in single YouTube Channel. It got 1.5 crore views, marks highest viewed Telugu song ever.
Prabhas and Tamanna made perfect pair and the visuals were equally enthralling. MM Keeravani provided soothing track. The costumes of both the actors were ideal for the song and the sets were visually appealing.
Post release of Baahubali, Tamanna who was almost fading out of the industry, got good offers in Telugu as well as Tamil. The starlet failed to attain a single hit in Hindi got nationwide recognition with the graphical extravaganza.
Tamanna will also be seen in Baahubali 2. However, her part is limited in the second part. The film co-starring Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty went on floors recently. Produced by Shobhu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni, Baahubali: The Conclusion is expected to grace theaters early in 2017.
