Of the 29 states in India, why is it that Arvind Kejriwal seems to be getting more coverage than any other Chief Minister? Is it because he patronizes the media more? No! Is it because he is having a phenomenal stint in the mode of a Narendra Modi as Gujarat Chief Minister? Definitely not!
Then how come this gentleman is constantly on the front pages of prominent dailies across the nation? The answer is logistics! Most of the media houses are headquartered in Delhi for obvious reasons. And it is precisely this proximity that Kejriwal is cashing in on.
Whenever he does something, they (the national media) are there right next door to cover it. And the BJP by openly taking on Kejriwal is making a puppet into a lion. “Who is this CM that dares to take on Modi?” is the perception being created in the minds of the common public. The more the BJP top leadership takes on Kejriwal, the more free publicity will Kejriwal garner.
