The wait is over because Akkineni Akhil has taken a sufficient time break to forget the bad memories left by his debut heroic flick ‘Akhil’ and it’s time for him to get back on work. Rectifying the past mistakes committed, Akhil has undergone a serious introspection session along with dad Nagarjuna. There is nothing like a better time to kick start the young hero’s second assignment and latest we hear is Nagarjuna locked a romantic script.
As speculated earlier, this project is going to be the Telugu remake of Bollywood hit ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani.’ Playing with a set of names which can make it to final list, Nag zeroed on Vamsy Paidipally as the right director to handle Akhil’s next. There is also a buzz on Alia Bhatt is being approached to play heroine for which she too accepted.
To be jointly produced by Annapurna Studios and Karan Johar, we can hear a final and official announcement very soon. Whatever the reason may be, Nag made a right decision to project Akhil not just as a mass hero in making but he also understood the necessity to build a romantic lover boy image too.
