Veteran actress Jamuna never minces words to express her true feelings about anyone or any matter. She is known for strong will as she fought against male chauvinism in the Telugu movie industry back in the 1960’s. Jamuna is back in the news as she expressed her dislike about the record-breaking Baahubali movie so openly.
“These days, I am watching moves occasionally. On the insistence of my grandson, I recently happened to watch Rajamouli’s Baahubali. I was told it was appreciated by all and collected huge money worldwide but I found it as a very stupid movie,” she told the media in Rajamundry.
In her opinion, Baahubali is an hollow movie except that it was made with high technical standards. Jamuna also added that the casting of the movie is not perfect. “Except the hero of the movie, the casting didn’t seem to me right. Tamannah’s role should have been given to Anushka,” Jamuna pointed out.
