It was a big hulchul since the news came out on civil court suspending D Suresh Babu from being the President of Telugu Film chamber of commerce. But there are certain facts behind this incident and they need to see the light.
Suresh is one of the biggest producers in India, a distributor, a studio owner and exhibitor too. In one word, he is the most eligible candidate for the post of president of film chamber for his potential and mastery in the mentioned departments of film making.
Well, the judgement from local civil court read that Suresh Babu cannot be continued in president post any more. But, after digging into the facts, it is clearly known that the judgement is purely based on technical and communication issues.
In the first point, It stated that the competitive commission imposed a fine of 12 lakh rupees. It’s the fine levied on film chamber, but not on Suresh Babu.
It was mentioned that the payment of common good fund is still pending. But the common good fund was already paid and they have the receipt for the same.
Now its clear, that the suspension happened only because the above documents were not produced at court on time and the same court will be lifting the suspension on Suresh babu very soon.
Suresh Babu won as Film chamber president with a great majority, in the exhibitor quota this time. Needless to mention, Suresh babu is a giant exhibitor with huge number of theatres in both the Telugu states.
