Krishnagadi Veera Prema Gadha Movie Review
Story:
Krishna (Nani) & Mahalaxmi (Mehreen) are in love with each other since their childhood but are scared to reveal their love to Mahalakshmi’s family even after a decade. Finally one fine day, Krishna musters courage to talk to to Mahalakshmi`s Brother. The trouble begins then as Krishna lands in big Soup of Faction Killings. Krishna who is an ordinary boy scared of faction, is forced in to it with a big responsibility to save few kids from the baddies for the sake of his girl.
Performances:
Nani did a very good job and his comedy timing is at its best as always. Mehreen fit in to the role very well. She makes a very good debut and impresses everyone. Sampath did well in an important role. The kids were very good find, its a laughing riot with them around. Rest of the supporting cast is adequate.
Technical Performances:
Hanu Raghavapudi rectified all the mistakes of his first film, Andhala Rakshasi. He just got the basics right in not going too far from what public wants. The story and the treatment is fresh and he made sure the comedy is in full dose since that what public expects from Nani’s films. On the flip side, there are pace issues particularly in the second half. The chasing sequences should have been better.
Vishal Chandrasekhar’s tunes are passable. Two of the songs are shot well. Camera work is good and so is the editing. The action sequences are shot well. Production Values are adequate.
Plus Points:
1. Entertainment
2. Screenplay
3. Production Values
4. Climax
Minus Points:
1. Slow at times
2. Drag in 2nd half.
Final Say:
Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gadha is an entertaining watch even though it has few cliches here and there. There are hardly any dull moment which makes it an easy one time watch. Nani seem to have another winner here.
