Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and his Telangana counterpart K Chandrasekhar Rao had one more occasion to shake hands with each other on Saturday, displaying their renewed bonhomie once again.

The occasion was the two-day State-level Judicial Officers’ Conference which began at Hotel Marriott in Hyderabad on Saturday.

Besides the two Chief Ministers, Supreme Court judges Justice A R Dave, Dipak Mishra, N V Ramana, High Court chief justice Justice Dilip B Bhosle, Gujarat Chief Justice R Subhash Reddy and others also attended the conference.

KCR and Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated the conference by lighting the lamps along with the judges.

While KCR received wide applause when he referred to Naidu in a respectful manner, the AP Chief Minister, too, reciprocated the gesture by saying that his government would soon take steps to shift the AP High Court to Amaravati, where a brand new building with all modern facilities would be built.

The judges showered praises on both the Chief Ministers for leading their respective States in the path of development.

Both the Chief Ministers had a cordial meeting after a couple of months. The last time Naidu met KCR was at the latter’s farm house at Erravelli in Medak district to attend the Ayutha Chandi Yagam. After that, KCR became more aggressive and lured as many as 7 TDP legislators in Telangana into the TRS.

The TDP lost deposits in Narayankhed Assembly bypoll, besides elections to GHMC, Warangal and Khammam municipal corporations.
