Nagarjuna is known for experimenting with different subjects and genres. After doing a jovial role in Soggade Chinni Nayana, he will be seen as a disabled man in his next arrival Oopiri releasing worldwide on March 25th.
Now, the ‘King’ star is going for complete makeover for his next film Om Namo Venkatesaya to be directed by K Raghavendra Rao. Nagarjuna will lose weight and grow beard for the devotional film that will go on floors in May 2016.
The film Om Namo Venkatesaya is going to be based on the life of Lord Venkateswara’s devotee Hathiram Baba. Nagarjuna will be playing the role of Hathiram Baba.
MM Keeravani will score the music for this new movie. Other cast and crew details will be unveiled soon. Currently, script works are underway.
Nagarjuna has worked in a slew of devotional films in the past like Annamayya, Sri Ramadasu and Shirdi Sai which were directed by Raghavendra Rao.
