Political temperature in Tamil Nadu is jut getting higher as Chief Minister Jayalalitha and DMK President Karunanidhi filed their nominations today. Jayalalitha filed her nomination at RK Nagar. As she filed her nomination, 100’s of enthusiastic party workers greeted her throughout the way to electoral office.Karunanidhi filed nomination at Tiruvarur and he represents the constituency for the consecutive term in the 234-member state assembly.
Nominations will close on 29 April. Jayalalitha is right now relying on her Five year achievements in various sectors. She is hopeful of grabbing the throne again.She is also so sharp in facing critics from DMK and she repeatedly says DMK is family rule and so on. Braving age and health issues, Kalaignar who is 93 Year old hits out at the Jayalalitha Government.
DMK Treasures MK Stalin will make his nomination on April 27th. DMDK Chief Vijayakanth and Vaiko are also expected to file nominations on the same day. Vijayakant and Vaiko are contesting from Ulunthoorpet and Kovilpatti respectively.
