Finally! After years long speculation and months long discussions, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s most eagerly awaited prestigious 150th film has been launched at an auspicious muhurtham this afternoon. The film will be directed by VV Vinayak and produced by Ram Charan under his newly floated Konidela Production Company banner.
Chiru 150 launch was a traditional and family affair and it was held at Charan’s Konidela Production Company’s office, with the entire Mega family heroes and other family members taking part along with several other industry celebs.
Ram Charan and his mother Surekha first launched their production house after which Allu Aravind switched on the camera and senior writer Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao sounded the first clap. The muhurtham shot was directed by Chiru’s brother Naga Babu.
Tentatively titled Kathilantodu, this memorable film will go on floors later this summer and Robo and 1 Nenokkadine fame Rathnavelu takes charge of cinematography department, while Devi Sri Prasad will compose the music. The makers have confirmed that the film will release during Pongal next year.
