According to the reports being published in Bollywood tabloids, former Indian cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin’s ex-wife and Bollywood actress Sangeeta Bijlani will be suing the makers of Emraan Hashmi’s soon to be releasing film Azhar, a biopic based on Azharuddin’s controversial personal and cricketing lives.
The reports said that Sangeeta watched a trailer of the film and expressed her dissent over pretention her as a marriage breaker through Nargis Fakhri who played Sangeeta’s role in the film. She is reportedly considering moving the court against Azhar’s makers of she is portrayed in a negative light after the film’s release.
Apparently, Sangeeta has even decided not to watch the film. Meanwhile, Emraan Hashmi refuted the rumours about Sangeeta saying that there’s no truth to these reports and that even Azharuddin was apprehensive about the portrayal of Sangeeta’s character and instructed the makers to stick to the truth. Azhar is slated for its release on May 13.
