Telangana TDP MLA Revanth Reddy on Friday approached the High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad and filed a petition stating that he is receiving death threats. Seeking special protection from central security personnel, Revanth expressed his doubt on the state government in providing him protection.
In his petition, Kodangal MLA stated that he’s getting several threatening calls from unknown persons. He said he has no belief on the Telangana State government and Telangana state police over his security.
Taking up the petition, the High Court said to have issued notices to the Telangana state government. The TS government has to file a counter to the Revanth’s petition. Apart from Revanth, almost all the senior TDP leaders have jumped from TDP to TRS. It may be recalled that Revanth was also accused of cash-for-votes scandal in the nominated MLC elections.
