Hailed as the two main pillars of Tollywood during their prime, Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna still command unbeatable fan adulation among their fans. Call it coincidence, both these stalwarts have just launched the most prestigious and crazy projects of their respective careers.
While Balayya’s landmark 100th film was launched in a star-studded affair recently, Chiru’s most awaited 150th film was flagged off today. Incidentally, the makers of both the films, including the stars themselves, have already been claiming that their films will release for Sankranthi next year.
Now, both Chiru150 and NBK100 are quite prestigious and expensive projects with crores of rupees riding on them and these films need a comfortable release to score big at the box-office and surpass trade expectations. This makes one wonder if both the units are claiming the Sankranthi release only to increase the hype among fans.We will have to see if both these Titans will really clash in the end or one of them will back off from the clash in the last minute.
