Nara Rohit had hit a hat-trick of failures this year. All the three films – Tuntari, Savithri and the latest film Raja Cheyyi Vesthe – ended up as big failures in his career.The third film Raja Cheyyi Vesthe was released with biggest publicity as a multi-starrer film and amidst hungama by the Telugu Desam Party activists.
Particularly, the publicity that it was a combination of Nara-Nandamuri families, could not save it from being a disaster. As a result, it suffered heavy losses.It is learnt producers had spent a heavy budget on this film either due to their confidence in the story or the overconfidence on the combination.
Sources said the budget had crossed Rs 10 crore for this film, which was produced by those who are known for their creativity. But the collections were not even one per cent of the budget.Apparently, this is the biggest loss ever faced by this production house, which always produced films with minimum guarantee. So, Rohit film was a disappointing venture!
