In an advanced approach to oral care, Phrophix, by Onvi, has introduced a new electric toothbrush that incorporates a video camera at the tip. The toothbrush is paired with your smartphone over wireless and Bluetooth and the video can be seen on your smartphone display. With the help of the video feed, the company says, you can see and understand your oral condition and catch spots you may have missed and monitor any health problems instantly.
The toothbrush has a brush, a mirror, a prophy cup, a rubber tip and a rubber scaler. You can take photos to show your dentist, track results over the app, get tips, and a lot more.
Prophix is presently on a pre-order for a discounted price of $299 and will retail finally with a price tag of $399. The toothbrushes are scheduled to start shipping by first quarter of 2017.
