The much awaited book regarding the process of bifurcation of AP and the hectic parleys that took place from 2004 to 2014 has been documented in a new book which will be released soon. It has been penned by Jairam Ramesh, considered instrumental during bifurcation.
Some excerpts from this book have been released before the official release which contains many interesting details and information. According to this, the current Telangana Chief Minister and TRS boss KCR was very insistent on Telangana being included in CMP in 2004 itself.
Moreover, he mentioned a lot of things that happened during KCR’s fast in 2009, then the December 24th statement followed by appointment of Srikrishna Commission for examining Telangana statehood demand. A lot of gaps which were there would be highlighted here.Interestingly, he reveals that there was good deal of development in and around Hyderabad during Chandrababu Naidu and YSR’s tenure. Jairam also revealed about Kiran Kumar Reddy’s strong anti-bifurcation stance and other key information in this book.
