Twitter has been burning the candles at both ends to make its platform better, with the introduction various new features including image stickers, which will now allow users to search images using hashtags.
In a recent blog, Twitter said that it is now introducing a new image sticker feature, dubbed #stickers, which is a nifty way to search photo tweets with the help of hashtags. With the help of this feature, users can now join in on real-time conversations by just adding stickers to the photos they upload.
After a user posts the photo along with relevant stickers on the site, the photo becomes searchable using hashtags. Subsequently, when you tap on a sticker in a Tweet, the user will be taken to a completely new timeline, which reveal how people around the globe use these stickers.
The new feature will be rolled out on both Android and iOS in the upcoming weeks, allowing you to find different kinds of images seamlessly with the help of searchable hashtags. #Stickers will also give users the option to edit photos, including filters, tags, cropping and accessibility options.Though late, this might be the micro-blogging site’s attempt to match progressive image sharing apps such as Instagram and Snapchat.
