A lot has been said about Samantha’s next project after she wraps up Janatha Garage. The reports of her marriage with Naga Chaitanya and the fact that Samantha backed out of Dhanush’s Vada Chennai have rise to the rumours that Samantha won’t sign films anymore.
But now, surprising everyone, Samantha has signed her next film. Interestingly, Sam chose to act in a Tamil film and not Telugu to avoid the media glare in Hyderabad. According to the reports, Samantha has signed a film with the rising star of Tamil cinema, Sivakarthikeyan.
Samantha’s latest Tamil film will be directed by Ponram and it will be bankrolled by 24AM Studios. Apparently, Samantha, who was reluctant to sign a new project initially, was quite kicked about her character and gave her nod immediately.
Meanwhile, Telugu fans of Samantha will be eagerly awaiting the arrival of Janatha Garage as they believe that it will be Sam’s last Telugu film and have prepared themselves for it.
