Baahubali Team Wants Publicity Only In National Media!

Rajamouli and his team didn’t care to promote “Baahubali The Beginning” in Telugu media. They didn’t interact with the local media either. Still, they were able to deliver and create history as far as collections  are concerned.

As the movie has now become a craze at national level, the team of “Baahubali 2” is now focusing completely on national and international media publicity.

Buzz in the industry is that the producers of “Baahubali 2” have hired a PR agency in Mumbai to promote the movie in Bollywood media right from the production stage. So the agency is giving all hyped up inputs about the movie to the Bollywood media regularly so that the interest among the Hindi audiences is sustained till they close all the business deals for the Hindi version.

The team has also hired an international marketing agency for the China and other foreign market releases. “Baahubali” team is in the opinion that the local Telugu media is anyhow forced to give the publicity to the movie, as there is huge buzz around it. So the team is giving a damn about local media.

Recently, Rajamouli canned the scene of Kattappa revealing why he killed Baahubali. This news of filming of the scene of why Kattappa killed Baahubali was sent by the same Bollywood PR agency to all the Bollywood media but not given to local press. Their preference is Bollywood media although the film is essentially Telugu movie.
