Though Telangana state is just two years old, the laurels it’s earning makes it no less than existing and top states of India like Gujarat and Maharashtra. Acknowledging its good-run, CNBC-TV18 chose the new-born Telangana for ‘Promising State of the Year-2016’ award. The mantra, according to the state government, is pretty simple- Transparent and Accountable Governance!

Committed to deliver corruption-free administration and development, the Telangana government is working hand in hand with centre in all the aspects. The CNBC award will be received by minister KTR at the awards function in New Delhi on August 30.
The media giant will also host a panel meeting with union Ministers Arun Jaitley, Prakash Jawadekar, Ravi Shankar Prasad Smriti Irani and Nirmala Sitharaman at the awards event.
