This is the doubt that has arisen in the minds of those intellectual cinema lovers now. Because Megastar Chiranjeevi’s image is so vast and he too never likes such death stuff, will he agree to die on the silver screen?
Not just Chiranjeevi, but many star heroes don’t like to die at the end in a movie like it happened even in Raees movie recently, which gave a shocker to fans when Shah Rukh is encountered in the climax. Especially Telugu stars took such risky moves rarely. After getting a super haze around his mega image and becoming the ultimate Megastar of Telugu films, Chiranjeevi never agreed to anti-climaxes in any of his films.
In films like Tagore, Chiranjeevi insisted his writers to change the climax, where in the original the protagonist shoots himself in the head and dies, but in Telugu version he fights in the court of law and wins sympathy of everyone. But in the case of upcoming film Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, actual history says that the fierce warrior from the Rayalaseema region got hanged to death by the Britishers after he revolted. Will Chiranjeevi now agree to be seen hanged?
Maybe they will not show the final hanging scene, but will indicate with text that “Uyyalawada is hanged to death, but his spirit lived on to inspire Telugus and Indians for next 100 years to fight for Independence”. If this death scene is altered, there is no point in discussing the pre-independent history through this movie.
