M Narasimhulu, one of the senior most leaders of the Telugu Desam Party in Telangana, might soon be rewarded with the post of a state’s Governor.
According to the latest happenings in political circles, TDP chief and AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has got positive response form BJP president Amit Shah when the duo has recently met in Delhi. Naidu has reportedly reminded his BJP counterpart of the promise the Saffron party made two years ago on appointing a TDP leader as the governor of a State.
It may be recalled that Naidu has recommended the name of Narasimhulu for the gubernatorial post last year itself but the BJP leadership did not pay heed then. However, as the chair of governor for certain seats is currently vacant, the BJP chief has reportedly assured Naidu of fulfilling his party’s promise.
Buzz in TDP circles is that Narasimhulu may be appointed as the Governor for a north-eastern state.
