The Nampally Criminal Court in Hyderabad on Monday issued a Non-bailable warrant against actress-director-producer Jeevitha Rajasekhar. The court has directed so after Jeevitha failed to attend the court hearings twice over a bounced cheque issue.
Apparently, Jeevitha Rajasekhar has borrowed an amount from their family friend and financier Parandhama Reddy with an assurance of two cheques as surety. With a cheque of Rs 36 lakhs bouced, Parandhama lodged a complaint in the Nampally court. With Jeevitha and Rajasekhar failing to attend the court for two consecutive, hearings despite repeated summons to her, and one including on Monday, hence, the Nampally Criminal Court has issued a Non bailable warrant against Jeevitha Rajasekhar.
Court has directed the Jubilee Hills police to produce the accused Jeevitha and her husband Rajasekhar to the court on or beforeNovember 29. However, Jeevitha and Rajasekhar are tight-lipped over the issue.
