KCR’s close friend and leading Telangana industrialist Jupally Rameshwar Rao, who has founded My Home group with interests in real estate, construction and cement, is likely to be given a big post. Jupally would soon be bestowed with the chief control authority over the administration of the historic Sri Sitaramachandra Swamy temple in Bhadrachalam, popularly called as “South Ayodhya”.
Jupally’s very recent visit to the Temple along with Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swami and minister Tummala Nageswara Rao has added fuel to these strong speculations that are doing the rounds. Both Chinna Jeeyar Swami and Jupally have come in a special chopper to the temple shrine.
It’s said that Chinna Jeeyar Swamy has made few suggestions on chalking a master plan to develop the shrine in tune with traditions. The initiative is in tune with CM KCR’s promise – during last year’s Sri Rama Navami celebration – to allot Rs 100 Crore for the development of temple. It’s learnt that Chinna Jeeyar Swami has suggested setting up a goshala in the temple town.
For the past four years, there’s no governing body in the temple. Even though it’s been nearly three years after the formation of Telangana state, nothing has changed. So, now reports have it that KCR is wanting to constitute a governing body for the historic temple and see to it that development works would be carried without delay.
If all goes as per the plan, My Home Rameshwar Rao would be made as the Chairman of the Temple Board.
