Only after raising concerns over growing attacks on Indian nationalists in United States, their authorities have reportedly promised a speedy justice in tragic murder of 43-year old Harnish Patel at his store in South Caroline and 39-year old Deep Rai outside his residence in Kent, Washington.

Although President Donald Trump condemned such hate-crime incidents during his speech at Congress, he neither promised a proper justice nor an action plan to curb such incidents in future. But, the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) in Seattle have stepped in to collaborate with Kent Police department in investigating Rai’s killing.

Families, whose loved ones were killed in US, demand Indian government and officials to build pressure on America to speed up the probe and investigate those racists. In this regard, Indian Ambassador to US, Navtej Sharma raised deep concerns with state department, that expressed condolences to the bereaved family on behalf of Indian government.

According to Indian Embassy, the local police and FBI are said to be constantly communicating the status of probe to officials and acting swiftly to our response. The US hate-related killers were accused of widespread racist abuses against Indian-American community before attacking. The 51-year old Adam Purinton, who was taken into police custody, for killing Telugu engineer Srinivas Kuchibotla has been sent to Johnson County jail and is awaiting for next appearance in court on 9th March.
