Akkineni Nagarjuna starrer recent devotional film ‘Om Namo Venkatesaya’ has turned out to be one of the epic disasters in the history of Telugu cinema. Each and every buyer lost great amounts on this film.

The film’s worldwide theatrical rights were acquired for a huge Rs 35 Cr and guess how much the film collected in its full run? Its a mere Rs 9.6 Cr, which is about 25% recovery. With 75% losses, ONV has been termed by trade pundits as a gigantic disaster.

The overseas distributor became the highest loser as he lost 90% of his investment, making the film the biggest ever overseas disaster in Tollywood history.

Remaining – 0.75cr

Total Worldwide share – Rs 9.6cr.

Despite favorable reviews and good performances, ONV was completely rejected by all sections of audiences.
