Perhaps first time in the history of Telangana even in erstwhile Andhra Pradesh, a mammoth public meeting by mobilizing nearly 10 lakh people from across the T State conducted in Warangal on the eve of 16th TRS foundation day celebrations.
To make success the public meeting, all ministers, TRS leaders, MPs, MLAs and MLCs camped in Warangal town and made arrangements to mobilize people. Party leaders said on the instructions of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, three choppers were hired to bring VIPs from Hyderabad. Four trains pressed into service to provide transportation for party workers coming from different districts.
Nearly one lakh vehicles, including Cabs, buses, tractors and Lorries have been hired for the convenience of people attending the public meeting from the morning. Food and drinking water supply were also made in a big way. To ease traffic congestion, vehicle parking facility was provided on the outskirts Warangal.
