The very-popular television shows Patas and Jabardasth are equally well-known for catering skits that that serve a kind of obscenity on small screen. With a view to execute a skit and serve entertainment, these TV shows are taking improper paths and spreading vulgarity, claims the censor board member Diwakar in his complaint with state Human Rights Commission.
Diwakar, who approached Balanagar Police Station, lodged an official complaint with state HRC after the cops denied taking up his grievance. ‘The two TV-reality shows are spreading vulgarity among viewers’ argues the complainant besides seeking stern action against the directors and producers.
Obviously, Human Rights Commission has issued to the makers of those TV shows and directed them to respond with an appropriate explanation before 10th August. The HRC also warned stringent action against them if they fail to tender a clarification before the specified date.
It now remains to be seen how the makers of these two TV programs are going to reply to the HRC’s issuance. While senior actress-cum-politician Roja and Naga Babu are acting judges to Jabardasth show, anchors Ravi and Sri Mukhi are hosting Patas.
