Other day when top heroine Samantha Ruth Prabhu walked to the stage of Filmfare Awards to receive her fourth Black Lady for Best Actress performance, she made some stunning comments. Though looking very lovely they are both thought provoking and insightful.
When Samantha is feeling nervous before going to awards function, Naga Chaitanya questioned her why she’s so anxious about getting the award. Do you know what Sam said then? “Tomorrow when our baby asks me, ‘Dad is a big star what about you?’ then I could show these trophies”, said Samantha to her boyfriend, to whom she’s already engaged.
Well, that says Samantha is very much desiring the black lady as she wants to show them as a proof to her babies about her victories. But what is worrying fact here is that even a starlet like Samantha has to worry about her future as marriage is going to change the way she looks at things and also how things look at her in the society dominated by men.
Coming to Filmfare awards, this is her fourth black lady win. Earlier she grabbed Best Actor trophies for Eega and Neethane Enpon vasantham, and Best Debut for Ye Maya Chesave movies.
