Bigg Boss, a reality show adapted from the ‘Big Brother’ show of UK, has become a huge success in India as Hindi audiences loved those silly controversies. However, the decision to bring the show to Telugu audiences has met with mixed response.
Although the organizers of Bigg Boss Telugu have managed to raise curiosity on the show by roping in NTR as the Host, of course by coughing up crores, their plans aren’t succeeding exactly. The show’s shoot is scheduled to commence around mid-July but the contestants aren’t on board yet.
The likes of anchor Suma, actor Posani have reportedly turned down the offers. Noted celebs need to be inside the house in order to create hype on the show. It is heard that organizers are now contemplating on approaching popular and equally controversial Christian preacher KA Paul to rope him in as a contestant on the Telugu show. If a celeb like Paul gives his nod, the show will surely grab attention.
We have seen what a huge farce Megastar Chiranjeevi’s MEK 4 has become. NTR Jr may not like to see his debut TV show going down the drain. And, noted and/or controversial faces like KA Paul should be on board to create hype on and possibly make Bigg Boss a success.
