Speaking at the audio launch event of the Tamil dubbed version of Gautamiputra Satakarni in Chennai last night, Balayya floored the attendees and Tamil media with a touching speech delivered in fluent Tamil. Describing himself as a proud Tamilian by birth, Balayya said that the legendary Tamil actors – MGR and Sivaji Ganeshan were like his fathers.
Talking about Gautamiputra Satakarni, Balayya said it is not just a Telugu film, but a film belonging to the entire country. He expressed his happiness over finally releasing the film in Tamil Nadu. “This movie will be dubbed into several other Indian languages very soon,” Balayya announced during his speech.
Tamil audio release event of Gautamiputra Satakarni was held in Chennai last night. Hero Karthi, Tamil director KS Ravikumar, producer C Kalyan and Krish were present during the function.
