Currently, the jokes and realistic comments being made on Kangana Ranaut’s Nepotism comments are taking a new turn. Recently Kangana stated that Bollywood always picks relatives and friends than real talents (which is called Nepotism in a single word) and that invited wrath. After Karan Johar, Varun Dhawan and Saif Ali Khan made fun of ‘Nepotism’ by calling ‘Nepotism Rocks’ on IIFA stage, Varun issued an apology for his comments. But others are targeting Kangana now.
A co-writer of Kangana Ranaut’s “Simran” movie, Apurva Asrani, sparked a debate, saying, “Kangana hired hero brother as an additional writer for Simran. She hired her sister as manager & now promotes her brother. All guilty of #nepotism?”. Extending this dig further, a leading media in Bollywood accused that Kangana herself is promoting nepotism while teaching apostles to others.
Stunned by these accusations, Kangana’s sister Rangoli stated that her sister gave her work as a Manager only to divert her from the acid attack and depression she survived. Also, Rangoli added that their brother is a commercial pilot who’s working somewhere else but not being bought as a writer into films. “You are after your 5 mins fame which you don’t deserve so please calm down and Relax”, said Rangoli, directed at Apurva Asrani.
Well, this writer Apurva is surely trying to define nepotism in a new way, but most people agree with Kangana Ranaut’s definition of nepotism. While Bollywood outsiders get only one chance to prove, whether a hero or a heroine, insiders will get umpteen chances. Despite starting with 3-4 flop films, today we have Sonam Kapoor and Tusshar Kapoor, what example needed!!
