When top actress Samantha signed a Tamil film opposite rising Tamil hero Siva Karthikeyan in a medium budget film, makers were overjoyed. Their joy however turned into frustration as soon as the shoot beings with the actress putting forward some tough conditions.
The shoot of this untitled film being directed by Ponram has recently commenced in Ten Kasi. Buzz in Tamil film circles is that Sam personally met her director on the first day of the shoot and informed him about her skin allergy. She is said to have asked him to make necessary arrangements at the shooting location so that she doesn’t get exposed to heat. She as reportedly told him that she wouldn’t attend shoot if she found even a little heat on the sets and that he needed to film all of her scenes as quickly as possible.
Buzz is that makers are annoyed with these conditions but they are unable to do anything as she is a top actress.
It may be recalled that when the shoot of Ram Charan’s ‘Rangasthalam’ was cancelled midway in the month of May, makers cited that the heat conditions in Rajahmundry and that Sam once fainted on the sets.
