After meeting AP CM Chandrababu Naidu At State Secretariat today, Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan spoke to media. Below are a few important excerpts from his press meet.This is my first press meet in the Capital after floating Jana Sena party.
The honorable CM responded positively to the Uddanam issue and he promised to do everything in his capacity to eradicate the chronic kidney disease.
I thank the Harvard expert team for coming all the way to here to help the state govt. in finding a permanent solution to the issue.I request media and political parties not to search for political motives behind my interest in Uddanam issue. Doing politics with people’s lives is worse than anything.
There is no secret friendship with TDP and BJP. If there is a people’s issue, I will take it to the notice of the govt. I will fight with the govt. for people if needed.I will cater most of my time to politics from October this year.
Even I don’t know the power of Jana Sena until my party goes into public, which will happen in a few months.I have been ready to do ‘Padayathra’ since 2014, but the govt. is not allowing even my car to come into public, citing security issues.
Jana Sena hasn’t yet taken a stand on Nandyal by-polls. I will soon make a formal announcement after discussing with my party cadres.I have knowledge of caste system, but I have never used caste for sympathy or votes. Selfless leaders should not be confined to regions, religions or caste system.
Current politics is relying on ‘divide and rule’ formula. It has to be changed.I haven’t forgot the ‘Special Status’ issue. Jana Sena will soon go into people with a well-planned campaign and make the Centre realize its mistake.
