A posh pub in Jubilee Hills was raided by West Zone Task Force on Wednesday (August 2, 2017) late evening. Cops have booked its owner along with 11 guys and 7 girls. All were taken into custody. Allegedly, the youths were having a Mujra party in the pub that was against the rules and regulations. Cops have booked cases against the pub owner and youths.
Mujra dances showcase women – semi-naked, naked- dancing for pleasure of men. Towards the end of parties, these women get into the acts wit the men who opt for them. These have been banned by government even in remote places. But many in police department, media were shocked of knowing about Mujra party being conducted in a well-known pub in Jubilee Hills.
A probe has been ordered. Police said to have raided after they got a tip off from few people. More details are yet to be known.
