From last two days, there is huge buzz that the makers of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s 151st film, based on the life and times of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy the first known freedom fighter, has approached ‘Eega’ villain Sudeep for a crucial role. Is there the truth about it?
Apparently, Uyyalawada project is boasting ensembling star cast including the likes of Chiranjeevi, Amitabh Bachchan and Nayantara. Talking about this role offered to him, there is parallel lead kind of role in the film that speaks both Kannada and Telugu, so obviously I’m their first choice.
But talks are on, I’ll reveal details soon, he says. He also confirmed that with AR Rahman being the composer of this film and Ravi Varma cranking camera, this is an opportunity that should not be missed.
Uyyalawada project will take off either on August 15th on Independence Day eve or from Chiranjeevi’s birthday on August 22nd. Watch this space for updates.
