The latest we hear is that Sekhar Kammula is planning to make a one more beautiful love story in the Telangana backdrop. And this will be his immediate film after Fidaa. And more details regarding the project have not been disclosed.
And now, the talk has it that this could be a sequel to Fidaa or a mere extension. While his next need not have any direct connection with Fidaa, but the plot of one more love story in the Telangana backdrop is naturally giving rise to speculations that Sekhar’s next could have common things with Fidaa.
After super success of Happy Days, Sekhar Kammula has made Life is Beautiful. Although the latter is not a sequel, it has several common things to share with the Happy Days. The premise, layers of Life is Beautiful are very close to that of Happy Days. While Happy Days worked, Life is Beautiful didn’t work.
However, Sekhar shouldn’t repeat such mistakes now. Since Fidaa is a huge success that reaped double the investments, all eyes are on Sekhar’s next and trade would be ready to bet big on his next. Now, Sekhar needs to be more conscious and cautious to avoid getting monotonous, stereotyped.
