TRS Sr Leader’s Son To Join BJP?

In an attempt to revive his political charisma, Nizamabad senior leader and former PCC chief D Srinivas and his son D Aravind (Mayor) joined KCR-led Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) in 2015 after the senior was denied MLC ticket in Congress party.

After his joining in TRS, Srinivas has been appointed as advisor for Telangana government and later, nominated for Rajya Sabha in 2016. But, the recent speculation has it that Srinivas and his son Aravind are likely to switch their loyalties towards BJP. Even TRS insiders are unsure if this is true, but the statement by D Aravind- a realtor and former cricketer- has sparked this across the state.

On the occasion of Independence Day flag hoisting, Aravind reportedly told that ‘India need to stand in support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his development-oriented activities and good governance.’ But, his father who’s been silent for some time did not quite agree to the speculation that he would be leaving TRS party.

At the moment, there is no clarity whether they would be leaving TRS or not but the rumors is gaining momentum gradually.
