Director Mahi V Raghav, who made his debut with the Last Friday release, ‘Anando Brahma’, confessed that he was shocked with the result of his film. It was a pleasing shock nonetheless.
In a recent interview, he looked highly elated to disclose that his debut film, ‘Anando Brama’ broke even in just three days. He added that he was expecting the film to do well but that he was pleasantly shocked to see such euphoric response from audiences.
“We were quite surprised with our film’s result. We had confidence on hitting bull’s eye, but we didn’t expect the film to break even in just 3 days. You know not many films could achieve such feats,” the director said with a sense of satisfaction and a little pride.
He credited the blend of horror and comedy besides the performances of comedians in the film for the success of Anando Brahma. The director revealed to have been flooded with remake offers from neighboring industries. He added that he is relishing his film’s success at the moment and that he was in no hurry to take a call on whether to go with the remake or not.
