Nandan Nilekani, co-founder of Infosys and the man who piloted implementation of UIDAI (Aadhar) in India, has emerged as leading candidate, among domestic investors, to become the next chief executive officer of Infosys. Nandan was the front-runner for the top job, as the share of company tanked by 15% in two continuous sessions after Sikka’s exit.
According to a latest report of CNBC, Nilekani enjoys the confidence of various stakeholders, customers, clients and employees too. On other hand, NR Narayana Murthy scheduled a conference call with investors to brief his take on latest happenings on 29th August.
