Its been almost 9 months since the death of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa but the mysteries surrounding her demise and the fights over her property are still at large. Afresh, a woman came out in open claiming that she was the biological daughter of Jayalalithaa.
Going into details, a woman named Amrutha from Bengaluru has recently claimed herself as the biological daughter of Jayalalithaa. She even expressed her willingness to undergo DNA Test to prove her claim. She also wrote letters to the President Ram Nath Kovind and PM Narendra Modi demanding CBI Inquiry into the 75-days stay of Jayalalithaa at Apollo Hospital and her subsequent death.
In her letter, Amrutha stated that Jayalalithaa went into depression after the death of her mother, and that she came out as a strong woman with the help of actor Sobhan Babu. She claimed to be the biological daughter of Sobhan Babu and Amma. ‘I came into this world as a result of their love. They couldn’t marry each other because of certain issues,’ she wrote.
She further mentioned that the responsibility of her upbringing was vested by Jayalalithaa on her sister Sailaja and her husband Sarathi.
‘I met her for the first time in 1996, when Sailaja told me to do so. She hugged me with affection and talked with me at length. Though I met her a few more times, she never told me that she is my real mother. My relative told me that I am Jayalalithaa’s daughter only when she felt disgusted to see outsiders fighting for her property after her demise,’ she added.
Amrutha also said that she has doubts over Jayalalithaa’s death and that she suspects a conspiracy by Sasikala and Natarajan.
Amrutha’s letter has become a huge topic of discussion in Tamil Nadu.
