TDP MP and senior politician from Anantapur JC Diwakar Reddy has opened up about his alleged differences with former CM late YS Rajasekhar Reddy. JC had revealed an interesting incident between him and YSR that took place a day before the fatal air accident of YSR.
Divulging it, JC told in an interview, ‘YSR had not inducted me in his cabinet when he became the Chief Minister for second-time. Despite being very senior, I was not taken into his cabinet. I have gone to his house once to know why he avoided me. That’s when he explained the reason for not taking me into the cabinet. He had told me that complaints from a few leaders from my district was reason. I had clarified on the complaints and Rajasekhar Reddy was convinced.’
According to JC, YSR had later called on JC a day before his death and told him that Madam (Sonia Gandhi) has agreed to take him into cabinet. He had assured me to take into his cabinet and promised me that he would make me minister once he returns from Chittoor. On his way to Chittoor for Rachabanda program, YSR had died in an air accident when his chopper hit a hillock due to bad weather and exploded.
