Finally, the opposition parties have come under a single to fight against Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s government and his ruling TRS party. As a first step, Congress, TDP and left parties have been formed as ‘Anti KCR Front’ to defeat the TRS in the prestigious Singareni Collieries Labour Union elections to be held this month end.
All the opposition parties will support the candidates of AITUC, a trade union of left parties, in the election. A joint candidate will be pitted against the TRS candidate.
Telangana Congress chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy, Telangana TDP Working President A Revanth Reddy and Left party leaders too the decision to fight jointly against KCR in the meeting.
Depending on the outcome of the result, the opposition parties will chalk out an action plan to strengthen the Anti KCR Front before 2019 elections.
