TDP MP JC Diwakar Reddy has made shocking announcement today. Known for his outspokenness, JC Diwakar Reddy stated that he would quit his post on next Wednesday.
Diwakar Reddy expressed his displeasure, dissatisfaction for not able to keep his “promises” to people. JC felt sad that he could not provide water to Tadipatri region. JC Diwakar Reddy said that he has never “compromised” in his long political career spanning over four decades.
Alleging that a “few forces” are working against the development of Anantapur, JC made it clear that he would quit MP post on coming Wednesday (Sep 27).
Going into details, there have been differences between MP JC Diwakar Reddy and Anantapur MLA Prabhakar Chowdary from longtime. While Diwakar Reddy is in favour of road widening, local MLA Prabhakar Chowdary and Anantapur Mayor have been opposing the move politically. In fact, AP government which initially sanctioned funds to Anantapur for road-widening and allotted Rs 70 Crore has retracted its decision after opposition from the local MLA.
TDP senior leaders and chief Chandrababu Naidu are shocked over Diwakar Reddy’s announcement. It is heard that Chandrababu stepped in to resolve the crisis and trying to pacify JC. More details are yet to come.
