As one of the country’s leading actors Deepika Padukone enjoys huge following on social media, and on the downside she is often targeted on the same media for silly and infuriating reasons.
Sometime ago, she was trolled for flaunting her toned legs in underwear for a photo shoot. On another occasion, she was mercilessly targeted for being too skinny. Recently, when the regal poster of the actor’s upcoming film, ‘Padmavati’ was unveiled, trollers found her ‘Unibrow’ a reason enough to target her.
Now, the top actress has once again become the victim of moral policing on social media after a picture of her from a party surfaced online. Last night, noted fashion designer Manish Malhotra posted a group selfie from a party in which Deepika, Karan Johar, Bollywood hero Siddarth Malhotra and him were seen posing in the pic.
Deepika’s slightly droopy eyes gave the opportunity for the social media cynics to go after her with comments like ‘she was drunk’, ‘she was high’ etc. She looked a bit tipsy but that doesn’t give the right to anyone to troll her.
