Senior Telangana TDP leader Motkupalli Narasimhulu has expressed his disappointment over not getting the much-waited and highly expected Governor post.
He reportedly revealed that his family members were dejected and that they didn’t even celebrate the Dasara festival after the Centre omitted his name while announcing 5 new Governors on Saturday. He however said that he still had faith in party chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s word.
Motkupalli has been waiting for the Governor post for over three years now. He was reportedly promised by Chandrababu to help him in getting the Governor post citing TDP was an of ally Centre-ruling party BJP. It was also reported that when TTDP leaders met newly-elected Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu to congratulate him, he hinted the high chances of Motkupalli to be made as a Governor.
All the high hopes of the senior TDP leader however were dashed to the ground when he found his name missing in the newly appointed list of Governors. Reportedly, Chandrababu was as disappointed as Motkupalli since he personally requested Modi in this regard.
Latest reports suggest that two more Governors will be appointed very soon. Will Motkupalli get a chance this time?
