Even after a grand launch of Chiru’s Sye Raa and unveiling of it’s first look by SS Rajamouli in August, the film’s shoot has been deferred which is expected to take a toll on the planning.
While the replacement of cinematographer Ravi Varman with Ratnavelu and non availability of Ratnavelu as he is currently working on Charan’s Rangasthalam is one of the reasons, it is learnt that the film’s script has not yet been locked. And this is another crucial reason why the film’s shoot is delayed. Inside talk is that director Surender Reddy is still working on the script and making necessary changes with the help of noted writers. Apparently, Chiru told Surender to work on script further and asked him to come up with a bound script. Also the fact that Charan himself is producing this big-budget multi-lingual film, Charan wants to free himself from Rangasthalam shoot to execute things hands on.
Meanwhile, Chiru is the only one who is perfectly ready for the character and even in complete shape, style for the role. On other hand, Surender Reddy is also hunting for notable cast alongside Chiru in this historic biopic. And the moot question is whether Surender Reddy can match up to make a grand film on par with Rajamouli’s Baahubali.
