After quitting TDP, Telangana Senior leader A Revanth Reddy has faced first big hurdle from Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s government. Revanth was denied permission to hold a meeting at Jala Vihar on the banks of Hussain Sagar Lake in Hyderabad on Monday.
Revanth called a meeting with his supporters to discuss his future political plans and share his views with media personnel at Jala Vihar. Since Assembly Session was going on, police informed Revanth that meetings and gatherings are prohibited five km around the periphery of Assembly premises.
As there is no alternative, Revanth shifted the meeting venue to his residence in Jubilee Hills. Media is making elaborate arrangements to cover Revanth’s meeting live as Telugu people in two Telugu states are eager to watch political developments taking place in Telangana.
