The suddenly planned 3-day London tour of Leader of the Opposition in AP Assembly and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has surprised many. Party cadre informed that their chief planned the tour to spend some time with his daughter, but the latest speculations tell a different story.
YCP leaders told that since Jagan was all set to embark upon ‘Padayatra’, and that will be busy for next six months, he decided to go to London to spend time with his daughter for three days. It may be noted that Jagan’s elder daughter Varsha Reddy has recently joined London School of Economics to pursue higher studies.
However, speculations in AP political circles say that the purpose of Jagan’s London visit is to buy a Palace there. According to these wild but unconfirmed speculations, Jagan had started discussions to purchase a lavish palace, worth hundreds of crores, during his last visit to London, and that he has planned this latest visit to seal the deal.
Jagan’s supporters however argue how could and why would he do such a hefty purchase when ED (Enforcement Directorate) and CBI sleuths have kept an eagle eye on him.
